Hi ! I'm the founder of Decourt desserts!

Baking has always been more than a job to me. It’s something I trained for, worked at, and always dreamed of building on my own.

After studying culinary arts and French patisserie in Paris, I returned there to gain experience before following my heart back to Ireland. I spent several years working in hotels and bakeries, learning, refining my craft, and imagining what Decourt Desserts could become.

Along the way, I kept baking for birthdays, family gatherings and small celebrations. Sharing my creations felt natural, and the idea of creating something of my own slowly took shape.

Decourt Desserts grew from that journey. French inspired pastries, baked in Letterkenny and made to be shared!

Hopefully, you’ll find your favourite cake here. And maybe come back for another.
Something that makes you smile.

OUR VALUES

Choosing seasonal fruits really makes a difference.
By doing so, you help us bake desserts that are fresher, tastier, and more respectful of the environment.

Seasonal fruits are more likely to come from Ireland or nearby countries. That means fewer food miles, a lower carbon footprint, and ingredients that simply make more sense.

Every good choice counts. And together, they help shape a more thoughtful way of enjoying desserts.

What’s in season?

  • Late March to August
    Red berries

  • August to September
    Plums

  • September to February
    Apples and pears

  • December
    Clémentines, lemon, oranges

Baking with the seasons keeps things simple, honest, and better for everyone.

QUALITY & HEALTH

All our cakes are homemade, with a true French pastry know-how.
No artificial flavours, no palm oil, and no artificial colours. That’s why, for example, our macarons aren’t rainbow bright.

We keep things simple and honest.
Flour, free-range eggs, seasonal fruits, and ingredients we trust.

We try to keep our impact as low as possible, one small choice at a time.

You can help too. When you can, bring your own shopping bag, reusable mug, or cake box for regular orders. Simple habits that make a real difference.

Behind the scenes, we reduce food waste through composting and recycling, and we choose compostable packaging while keeping plastic to a minimum.

It’s not about being perfect.
Just about making better choices, together, for today and for what comes next.

ECOLOGY

LOCAL

Local ingredients play a big part in how we bake.

We use eggs from Fanad, cream from a nearby farmer working with the local dairy cooperative, and honey sourced here in Donegal. Ingredients chosen for their quality, their freshness, and the people behind them.

Baking this way keeps things grounded, seasonal, and connected to where we live.

It’s a choice we make every day.

More than a cake. Made with care, meant to be shared.
